Timotéo (Téo) Ikoshy Montoya II
Timotéo (Téo) Ikoshy Montoya II is an enrolled member of the Lipan Apache Band of Texas. He is a writer, cultural theorist, and multimedia artist, focusing on Indigenous Futurisms and Indigenous knowledge systems to support an emerging world in crisis. Currently, he is pursuing his MFA in Creative Writing at the Institute of American Indian Arts, while also serving as an Operations and IT manager for Urban Native Era. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California Santa Cruz, where his thesis explored the impact of Colonization on Indigenous diets and health.
