To protect their rights and lands, BCLN is taking the governments of Canada and the province of Alberta to court.  This grant supports the Community Video Interview Project which will play an important role in BLCN’s upcoming Tar Sands Trial. It will feature 15 video interviews with Beaver Lake Cree community members, which the legal team will use to help the Court to see, hear and understand how BLCN’s traditional way of life has been impacted by industrial development.
