Land Tending

Through the revitalization of native lands, foods, and lifeways, our land practice is rooted in the restoration of healthy lands and waters and traditional ecological knowledge. We are honored to tend land at our partner site in Novato, as well as be walking through a Native land project of our own, Heron Shadow. In all our land tending, we work in traditional ecological revitalization as well as in Indigenous agriculture and seed saving practice, aiming to reconnect biological and cultural diversity to nurture the health of our lands, waters, and peoples. The following resources have come together through our research, learnings, trials, and growing. We aim to share those experiences and resources, as a learning space for community.
