Alexis Stanley

Alexis Stanley, MS is a global health researcher and digital storyteller

Alexis is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation with maternal ties to the Pueblo of Acoma and paternal roots in Honduras. Born and raised in Akimel O’odham territory (Phoenix, AZ), Alexis grew up spending time with her family on the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona and in the Pueblo of Acoma in New Mexico. 

Alexis received her Bachelors of Arts from the University of San Francisco and completed her masters of science degree from the University of California, San Francisco, in Global Health Sciences. Alexis conducted research on infection control and hand hygiene in her paternal homelands of the Honduran Bay Island of Roatán.

As a previous Guardian of the Water intern, Alexis is excited to step back into this space with TCC.
