Coyote Room
Welcome to The Cultural Conservancy’s Community Library Room in the Presidio
The Cultural Conservancy’s growing Resource Library, developed over our four decades of work with Indigenous communities around the world, includes a sizable collection of books, periodicals, tens of thousands of audio and visual recordings, numerous paintings and prints, traditional carvings and sculpture knowledge, basketry and weavings, and other Native media. One of the ways to access this incredible collection is through our community library, the Coyote Room.
Our physical and online resource library is committed to Native arts, media and knowledge-sharing through exhibitions, workshops, writing and study. We serve Indigenous community through multiple exhibits throughout the year, including by appointment viewings, virtual exhibits, and educational media for ongoing accessible learning.
We are grateful to our funders in support of this project. This library has been made possible in part by funding from San Francisco Arts Commission and with collaborations from other institutional partners.
